Hello

I’ve spent more than 22 years in Product Development and Product Marketing, with the last 15 years dedicated specifically to Home Safety. My work has spanned everything from toddler-proofing essentials to the devices and supports that help older adults navigate the later stages of life with ease. Throughout my career, I’ve been deeply immersed in ADLs, mobility aids, grab bars, non-slip solutions, and all the thoughtful, practical details that allow people to move through their homes with greater comfort, dignity, and confidence.

Alongside my professional experience, life handed me moments that reshaped everything I believed about caregiving, safety, and support. Through personal challenges, family transitions, and seasons where I had to navigate overwhelming decisions, I discovered how powerful it is to have someone by your side—someone who understands both the emotional weight and the practical steps.

 

That realization sparked a calling I couldn’t ignore.

 

I wanted to use my background in home safety not just to design products, but to walk with families, lighten their load, and help them feel supported in the moments that matter most. With new certifications, renewed purpose, and a commitment to compassionate guidance, I made the decision to pivot my career and create something deeply meaningful.

 

That “something” is The Light Nest—a place where my experience, empathy, and heart all come together. A place designed to support caregivers and aging adults with clarity, comfort, and dignity. A place to bring light back into overwhelming situations.
